I am a former Canadian Hockey Player living in Australia.I have been involved in hockey for some 63 years.
I have been a Leaf Fan since "The Turke" guarded the twine for the Leafs,..trust me ,.I have seen them all come and go.
I have also played the game in many cities through out the world.I was responsible for entering and bringing in players to Australia for two teams.
My last position in hockey before retiring two years ago,was "Director Of Player Personel" for "The Central Coast Rhinos" of The A.I.H.L.
I do hope my knowledge of sports in general will be of Help,Enjoyment, and Good Reading, as well as Good Humour(e).
All readers may feel very free to ask me any of your questions on Hockey,..I may add, I am also a level 3 Coach and belong to the Coaching Club Of Canada.Looking forward to talking to you when ever I get away from my Golf Bag.

    Mitch - thanks for the background note and info. Good to know you have been are are on the hockey pulse here in T.O. Yep, watered down hockey is what we have in my world WATER DOWN = American Entertainment aka The NHL is reality TV for me. The Leafs make WAY TOO much money for most anyone in the Brass....till they start to slide they'll make sure everyone else gets the NHL's version of 'reality'.
