Mackenzie's Bio

Welcome to my profile!

Please check out my blog at www.jetsdaily.com!

I owe that blog to Bleacher Report, as it's where the creator of www.sportsblognet.com found me. I love this site. It gives budding young sportswriters a chance to get their feet wet. Sure, some suck, but plenty have talent, and I'll always appreciate a well-written article.

Alright, enough about the site. I'm a diehard New York Jets, Villanova basketball, New York Yankees, and New Jersey Nets fan. I used to say I was a diehard New Jersey Devils fan, but as much as I love and respect hockey, I don't watch enough hockey to call myself a diehard anymore.

I've been posting on Jets message boards since I was 10, and I'm around various boards under the aliases of Jetfanmack, MackNova, or MackNova311.

If you need to contact me, feel free to e-mail me, mackenzie.kraemer@villanova.edu. Or feel free to comment on any of my articles or on my blog. Most of my stuff I write on my blog now, since class and working on that take up a lot of my time, but anything I want to write that isn't relevant to the Jets I'll write for here.

Oh, and please don't leave comments on my profile just linking to an article you wrote if I don't know who you are, and the subject matter has nothing to do with any of the teams or sports listed. If it has to do with the Jets or with any of the other teams i said, sure, I'll read it, but otherwise, it's spammish.

  • All Time Sports Moment

Aaron Boone! Jets winning the AFC East in 2002 is a close second.

  • Most Memorable Game Attended

It was the final day of the NFL season in 2002. The Jets played at 4:15, needing either Atlanta to beat Cleveland to have a chance at the wild card, or New England to beat Miami to have a chance at the division title. It looked bleak for both teams, but a few of us in the Jets' parking lot watching New England begin a memorable comeback as Miami collapsed and lost the game in overtime. The Jets played the Packers at 4:15, and nobody cared about the game until the Patriots game ended, when the stadium erupted during a break in the play. Some players looked excited and ready to get down to business, others were clueless to what was going on, but it was surreal.

  • Most Unbreakable Sports Record

Cy Young's win total or any of Wilt Chamberlain's records

  • Ruth or Mays?

Ruth. Best hitter of all-time, and he probably would have been one of the best lefty pitchers of all-time, too.

  • Unitas or Montana?

    Montana, but this one's close.

  • Jordan or Russell?

    Jordan

  • Gretzky or Orr?

    Gretzky

  • Pele or Maradona?

Soccer? I try to watch Manchester United, but I don't know enough about either player, so I'll go with Pele.

  • Federer or Sampras?

    Federer

  • Tiger or Nicklaus?

    Tiger

  • Pac 10, Big 12, Big 10, SEC, ACC, or Big East?

Big East basketball. I guess SEC football, but it changes every year.
