Dafydd's Bio

I'm Dafydd.

I'm a life long Liverpool fan from Wales. I like pretty much all sports but especially football, rugby, F1 and tennis. And I can't stand how the yanks call some of their trophies "World" titles when they're the only ones who are interested in American Football, Baseball or Nascar.... whilst most of them dismiss sports like football and cricket, despite them being globally popular

  1. Dafydd,

I'm thinking of trying to do a collaborative effort with a number of Liverpool writers on the 20th anniversary of Hillsborough and I'd like you to be one of those writers. However, I'm struggling to come up with any ideas that would do the event justice. Any ideas?

    Cheers,
    Barney

  4. Hey Mate,

The B/R team are looking at creative ways to get the new writers involved, any suggestions from our top writers would be invaluable...

We are considering a poll of topics which our top writers could vote for as the topic for the Round Table Discussions,However, all that is for the future..

Phew! The 3rd Round Table has been published and now we're on course for our forth one...
This time the topic is :

"Who do you think is currently the World's best holding midfielder or CDM?".

Example of these are Viera,M.Diarra,Mascherano,Gattuso,Makelele,Hargreaves,Gilberto,Edmilson etc..pick from these or choose your own but it has to be a holding midfielder..a striker, winger, defender, attacking midfielder will NOT be accepted..

If you want to participate write a contribution 50-150 words long..atleast 50 words and email it to worldfootball@post.com latest by this Sunday or Monday..

If someone feels there are too many roundtables and are putting pressure on the writers, let me know and we'll delay it..

    Cheers,
    SS

  5. Hey Dafydd,

After the overwhelming success of the inaugural “round table” discussion in the World Football Community, we plan to move one step further.

This time round the discussion will be based on the following topic:

“Who do you think will win the Euro 2008 Championship and why?”

If you want to take part, then please write 50-100 words answering that question and send it to worldfootball@post.com
Kindly send in your answers latest by Tuesday ( 17 June 2008) and they will be published in an article on BR.
    Regards,
    SS

  6. Sorry about the misunderstanding there, mate, I'll keep that in mind for the next time. Cheers,
    --- Dusan
