Born and raised in the 7th ward of New Orleans, Louisiana. Spent part of my teens in Jacksonville, Florida. Joined the Navy and spent the next 21 yrs traveling up and down the east coast, Europe and the Middle East. Joined a comedy contest on a lark in 1994, came in third place, and has been a professional comedian ever since. Single mother of two wunnerful children, and grand mother of one little sugar baby.
