Hey,
Sorry for the completely delayed response...
Gustav... ahhhh! We lost power Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and it came back early Thurs. morning.
We ended up deciding on Wed. night to get out of the madness and go to Florida for the weekend.
We lost 2 trees in our yard...but they didn't fall on our house...so that's good.
All in all, it could've been worse.
I just hope Ike doesn't find its way here. :(

On a sports related note,
Yeah LSU did well against App St... but then again, it's App St. :)
Bummer that they cancelled Troy but oh well... legit reason.

My FFL team lost though :( Due to lack of power/being out of town, I didn't check on my roster...and that resulted in my playing an inactive TE. :(

Oh well better luck next week :)

Breakup during a game -that's rough!... because if you lose, it makes it that much worse...and if you win...then you can't really celebrate and relish in the fact that you won.

Man... that's painful. Well we both experienced pain that day then.....just I was mad at Drew Tate and you were mad at.... well your gf.

Well hopefully this season treats us both better...although I don't know how last season can be topped... aside from the fact that my team won the NC, it was so insane from day one with App St. beating Michigan.... it was the most unpredictable season ever.... I love it like that! lol.

In the past, the roundtables have been just a serius of Cubs-related questions. So as not to drag on too long, I would try and limit it to 3-5 q's and only 3-4 writers tops. Q's like 'who is the Cubs MVP?' and 'Who should they trade for?' and 'which 3 pitchers should be active in the playoffs, assumign you only need 3, who gets the boot?'....stuff like that.

Nathan,

I've tried to get a roundtable going and the past two times one of the three writers never responded so I wasn't able to get it done. But basically, as the community leader for the Cubs, I can suggest questions, send them to Cubs writers and publish them. Or, you can suggest topics to me or q's of myself and other writers and publish the results. You can include yourself or not, it's up to you.

Hello Nathan,

Nice article that you wrote.

It is pretty simple actually, there will be a sleeping 8 sort of besides the B I U and all that sort for a hyperlink - it opens a box where you can give the "link" and then the "open in new window" and later any name and click the "Insert" button - that should do it

Talk about a zoned out day! I had to have an MRI to see if my Multiple Sclerosis is progressing and causing my severe headaches and visual problems (decreasing vision after a new perscription 6 weeks ago). While I "was in the barrel" and listening to all the thunk...thunks and drones which are all off key, I zoned out trying to think of all the MMA fighters who I think should have had MRI studies done this year and got stuck in a religious song. To me this was wierd.

Thank you so much for your comments. I don't always understand all the significance of the things I write about until I look back at the article later and realize that things in my subconscious mind are often included--later it takes on deeper meaning to me. IMaybe I should have had a psych eval instead of an MRI, huh?)
