  1. Review the new feedback comment on that article. All the edits you undid were justified. I am a journalism grad hired by B/R as an editing intern. I enjoy helping people out and am not making whimsical changes.

  2. Thanks for the edits and the add. I really appreciate the assistance.

  3. Hi Andrew

  5. Hey Andrew,

I hope you've been enjoying the new and improved Bleacher Report—we're really happy with the feedback we've received so far.

Just thought I'd let you know that next week we'll be launching the site to the world with some public announcements, and thus it'd be great to get a contribution from you between now and Tuesday to make Bleacher Report's launch a success.

Let me know if you need any help with ideas or have questions. Have a great weekend Andrew!

  6. I was not around to see them no, but ive definitely tried to enjoy as much of it as i could. My dad is a lifetime islander fan and explained those years to me in depth. I love the story of Bill Torrey and Al Arbour working together when the team was awful in the early 70's and keeping their draft picks (Trotier, Potvin, Nystrom, Gillies) in order to build the eventual dynasty in 80,81,82,83 and even getting back to the cup finals in 84. For a franchise that only came around in 72, they have a great history. I just wish it would translate this season, they need some more skill players, and can't crack out of the first round of the playoffs. I'm going to check the website for your book now, interesting stuff.

  7. Nice meeting you Andrew, how did you get started as a writer, and what are some recent professions you have held in writing? (if you don't mind me asking)

  8. Andrew,

Apologies for the condescending tone in my last couple of comments. Unnecessary, especially when I agreed with most of your article. Baseball history is my forte, so I do look forward to your future articles.

    Evan

  9. Andrew,

I see you like Chris' writings, but you have not commented on mine. I am quite hurt about that.

  10. Hey, your article on Brett Favre being overrated was good. It lines up nicely with what I said in my piece. It's too bad that the comments section on your article basically devolved into mindless drivel. People just aren't willing to rethink their views in the face of logically made arguments sometimes.

  11. Hey dude, thanks for the editing attempt. But it's one thing to edit, it's another thing to re-write the article. I reverted back to where it was after Ryan edited it.

I'm not saying what you added wasn't good, because it was. It just wasn't my article anymore. Hope you understand. No offense meant, but I just like my articles to be mine- you know what I mean?

  12. No problem. Thanks for the support. I should know better than to use them.

  13. Loved the Favre article Andrew (even though you know how much I love the guy) and stuck up for you in the threads...

That said, if you could try to avoid those F-bombs, it would make my job a whole lot easier =)

    Thanks as always Andrew,
    Z

  14. Thanks for the support. I like Cal Ripken, but it would be interesting to see an article on him like that.

  15. Wow, writing an anti-Favre article takes some balls! If only somebody would write something like that about the other 'untouchable' figures like Cal Ripken or Tony Dungey.
