About

Lifetime Alabama Crimson Tide Fan thanks to my parents: Billy Dwight 'Cup' Terry & Sarah Ellen McCombs Terry. I lost both of them during the month of November (2009): Mom on the 11th, and then my Dad on the 29th. My parents loved the Tide, and they would have both loved the way this season is winding down. The last ballgame I took my mom to was Gene Stalling's first season against Auburn in Birmingham, AL in 1990. Bama won that game 16-7, snapping a 4-year winning streak by the Tigers. The last game my dad attended with me was against Kentucky last season on his birthday, October 4, 2008. Alabama pulled out a thriller: 17-14. I love my parents, and I miss them both very much. Roll Tide! Let's remember the Rose Bowl, we'll win then! Now it's time to bring on the Longhorns!

One of my favorite quotes from my dad: "Any conference who call themselves BIG, probably isn't." ~ Billy Dwight 'Cup' Terry
