Michael's Bio
I'm an FAU graduate with a Communications background and I currently run my own blog, the-mikerophone.blogspot.com. I'm a huge basketball, football and baseball fan and being from Houston, I'm partial to my home teams, although I have to say since moving to New Jersey, I've found people to be a lot more sports-oriented. I'm also very active in fantasy leagues, as I'm in a basketball roitsserie league right now and have been in an NFL Keeper League for four years, winning one championship during my tenure.

Most Memorable Game Attended
I was 11 years old and went to my first Rockets playoff game with my father in 1994. It was Game 2 between the Houston Rockets and the Portland Trail Blazers. In this game, Hakeem Olajuwon dominated the Blazers, scoring 46 points as the crowd chanted "MVP". He made one of the most amazing plays I've ever seen, chasing down Rod Strickland on a fast break and blocking his shot into the stands. I just went absolutely ballistic and it's a game I'll remember for a long, long time.
Most Unbreakable Sports Record

Michael-
You expressed interest in becoming the Astros Community Leader but have yet to write anything. Just wanted to check in and make sure you were still interested?

As far as the 'Stros, did you watch the top of the 9th last night? I was in tremendous pain watching Lidge do all the things he used to do with us before Pujols took him deep in '05 and Garner messed up his confidence.
I'm hoping management can field a competitive team, but I'm disgruntled by quite a few of their decisions, not just the Lidge trade.

I appreciate the feedback, ordinarily, I have my articles up a good three hours before kickoff, last week, I was running behind, but for the integrity of the article, I was not sneaking a peek at the games while writing my predictions, but rather going off what I thought would really happen. In the future though, I'll try to get my articles posted Friday or Saturday so they're of more use to the public.
