Jared has been writing about college sports (mainly college hoops) for over three years.
He started out in the newspaper business where he learned to hone his old-school work ethic, but found his voice in the sports blogging world.
Since joining the industry, Jared has gained media access to many different sporting events, including the 2012 Big East Conference Men's Basketball media day in New York. There he learned Jim Boeheim and Rick Pitino both believe each other are "full of sh**;" Jim Calhoun will be missed but new UConn head coach Kevin Ollie will do just fine on his own; and writing is his true passion.
