About

I recently started back in school to either become a football coach or a sportswriter, possibly both. I love the game of football and sports in general and like writing as long as it is about something I am interested in. Hopefully the articles here offer me a jump start to my writing career. Any comments would be appreciated. Thanks.

Short List

  • Favorite Athletes

Walter Payton, Jack Lambert, Jack Tatum, Roy Williams, and Mike Alstott

  • Favorite Sports Teams

Dallas Cowboys, Houston Texans, Houston Rockets, Tampa Bay Buccanneers, Houston Astros, Texas Rangers, Atlanta Braves, Texas A&M (Football), and anybody who beats the hell outta UT!!

  • All-Time Sports Moment

When Emmit Smith broke the all-time rushing record and when the Patriots lost in the Superbowl XLII.

  • Most Memorable Game Attended

My first Texas A&M Football game, which they won 52-17 against Iowa State.

  • Most Unbreakable Sports Record

100 Points in a game (Basketball), the rushing record, and consecutive games hit in and starts made.

  • Ruth or Mays?

Two of baseball's greatest players, hard to choose between.

  • Unitas or Montana?

They are both great quarterbacks, two of the best that have ever graced the NFL with their prescence.

  • Jordan or Russell?

Would have to say Jordan because of the way he still impacts the game today. Not take away from Russell, hard to argue with someone who has that many rings and was that great of a player.

  • Gretzky or Orr?

Would lean towards Gretzky but do not know a whole lot about hockey.

  • Pele or Maradona?

Pele but do not know too much about soccer.

  • Federer or Sampras?

Sampras because it is hard to argue with that many grand slam titles.

  • Tiger or Nicklaus?

Tiger Woods though Nicklaus paved the way for him.

  • Petty or Earnhardt?

Earnhardt. Nobody did it like the Intimidator.

  • ACC, Big 12, Big East, Big Ten, Pac-12 or SEC?

    Big 12
