Jennifer Matthews was born and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Since 2006, Jennifer has had success in both print and television. Starting as correspondent for Tulsa World’s Satellite section during her Junior and Senior year of high school, Jennifer entered the University of Central Oklahoma in August 2008 with a future in journalism already planned out.

Jennifer has covered many local and National stories including Oklahoma’s 2010 congressional election, and the U.S. Sitting Worlds volleyball team at the University of Central Oklahoma.
She is a proud graduate of the University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond, Oklahoma, a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated, and the National Association of Black Journalists. Jennifer enjoys reading, traveling, shopping and has an adventurous streak trying new things. She also loves all thing APPLE!
