Charles's Bio

Native San Diegan and lifelong Charger fan. I love my Padres, and I root for nearby Ducks and Lakers, but for me, there's no time like football season. I'm loyal, and biased, but try my best to deal honest opinions with appropriate measures of realism and respect.

  1. Glad you approve! I know the photo is painful to most people, Charger-faithful or not, but we really try to emphasize photos over logos whenever possible, it adds to the overall aesthetic of site. Keep the good work coming.

  2. Charles, great first article! I applaud your attempt to stay unbiased. Though I did reword your article a bit. I changed all references to the Chargers as standard, non-personal (them, they...) over your personal references (we, us...). The more unbiased you write, or at least appear, will go miles towards your credibility. Even if I know you're a die-hard fan, i'll give your article and arguments more weight and credence if you speak objectively. Once you start referring to yourself as a member of the team (e.g. "we made some serious offseason moves."), you start to lose a lot of readers and credibility.

Like I said, it was a great article, and if you have any questions or comments at all, don't hesitate to let me know.
