I left Boston over two years ago, begrudgingly forfeiting the luxury of living walking distance from Fenway Park and switched coasts to California. But California's not so bad, especially when it's snowing in Boston.
I live in San Francisco surrounded by people who think they're cool for winning two World Series recently, but I always tell them, "Try 7 Championships in 10 years, and then come talk to me." I actually had to root for the Ravens in Super Bowl 47 (as a Patriots fan) just to avoid the SF trash talk that would have inevitably rained down harder than Ray Lewis' tears (win or lose).
Also, if you're a fellow Red Sox fan, be sure to buy your copy of "How the Red Sox Explain New England" which just hit shelves April 1. I wrote two chapters of it!
Hey Jess, I'm so sorry for bothering you, but I just started my own blog, and i was wondering whether you could read my first two posts and leave some comments? Thanks!
Nice 1st article keep it doing
