Britney's Bio

I am an Arizona State University student from Rochester, NY and former student-athlete on the ASU women's soccer team. I'll graduate from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication in May 2009 with a concentration in print journalism and a second major in English.

I'm currently an intern for Bleacher Report in the editing and marketing departments, and work for ESPN in Phoenix. I have experience at many media outlets in Rochester, NY including WROC-TV Channel 8, WHAM 13 and a contributing writer for nextSTEP Magazine. Other internships are writing and editing articles for College Affair Magazine in Scottsdale, Ariz. and working in the public relations department to promote the magazine around the Valley Area.

  1. Thanks for the edit Britney, appreciate it.

  2. Thanks for cleaning my article up!

  3. Brittney,

Thanks for the edits but a few things to make note of with your editing. In AP style, any time there is a dash after the number, for instance 4-for-13 or 3-pointers are always used in numerals. Also the record should be after the second mention of any team if possible. Ball-handling I think could go either way but to me it looks better with the hyphen although I've seen it as both. Thanks for the feedback though.

By the way, that's a pretty sweet resume. How did you get to work for ESPN? Do they pay?

    Adam
