S has yet to fill out a bio.
HAhaha! Yes I have a huge troll. He was stalking my posts for quite some time, so I quit responding to him, then he showed up on my profile board. I'm embarrased to say he's a PAC12 fan. But its understandable, he's a Trojan fan. lmao!! Sad thing is, he never really says anything inciteful or well thought out, just rambles on about a bunch of senseless babble and speculation. You and I have even had our debates, and I enjoyed them. This guys just like you said "Total Troll" and nothing else. I plan to just keep ignoring him from here on out, but he's all jacked up because he found out Kelly was leaving, and now thinks he has all this ammunition about Oregon falling apart. Problem is, he has absolutely no clue what he's talking about, and nothing to back any of it up. lol!!
It honestly doesn't matter. People that don't follow Oregon's program closely, dont realize the weight that it has in it's staff. Guys like running back coach Gary Campbell, play a tremendous role in recruiting and development and have been with the Oregon program for well over 20 or in some cases even 30 years. Kelly was not by any means the sole reason for Oregon's success. Gary Campbell, Nick Aliotti, Mark Helfrich, all of those guys play tremendous roles at Oregon. Helfrich in fact, the offensive cordinator and quarterbacks coach, won the qb coach of the year award this year, and actually is alot of the brains and made alot of the calls on offense every game day. Oregon honestly will not change much without Kelly. Everyone said the same thing about them falling apart when Belloti left to become the athletic director, now an ESPN anaylst. Oregon just got better, and people that arent that familiar with the program just assumed it was due to Kelly taking over. Truth is, the majority of everthing that took Oregon into the next level was already in place and happening before Kelly even got there. I have absolutely no reason at all to think we may not get that incredible matchup between Alabama and Oregon next year.
Hahahaha!! No worries at all my friend. Truly in my eyes, we are just a bunch of old freinds on this thing, each with his or her loyalties to their different programs for different reasons, hanging out in a bunch of leather recliners together, watching the season play out on an enormous big screen while spouting off and throwing popcorn at each other. LOL!!
You also said that you were spiteful toward Oregon for not getting there... by that I assume you mean you wanted to see an Oregon Alabama matchup as badly as I did this year. I think it wouldve been one of the greatest Title games in a very long time, if not the greatest ever. But don't spiteful for Oregon not getting there, afterall, had they not had the miscues that led to the Stanford loss, it just wouldve been Oregon vs Notre Dame and we wouldnt have gotten our matchup anyway. I honestly was happier to see the Ducks square off against Kansas State, rather than Notre Dame, because there was so much talk about the fact that the two teams were supposed to play at the beggining of the season anyway. Most Kansas State fans had been talking trash about Oregon all year, saying if they had played them, Oregon wouldnt have even been in the conversation because K State would have knocked them out right out of the gates. So it was nice to settle that one so convincingly as Oregon did. It also was great to hold "Optimus Klein" and company to just 17 points, actually 32-10 at one point late in the game, after listening to everyone claim that Oregon had a "non existent" defense all year. So I can truly say, I wasn't disappointed at all in seeing them in the Fiesta instead a Natty against the Notre Dame. There really wasnt anything to prove in a game between Notre Dame and Oregon, not nearly as much as there was between Kansas State and Oregon. Anyway, it was outstanding season for both our programs and I hope things play out differently in the end next year. One thing Alabama and Oregon both have in common over everyone else in recent years, is that they just keep coming... every year they both manage to just keep coming no matter what happens in the off season. I'd love more than anything in the world to see them both line up for all the marbles next year. I think it would be incredible. Anyway, take for now brother, and although I appreciate it, no need for apologies. You were just being passionate in supporting your team, and there is certainly nothing at all wrong with that.
ill be sure to give ya a holler next time i find myself needing another voice of reason. I honestly didnt have a problem with that guy till he "questioned" my upbringing... But i guess you can question anything about anybody when your sitting at a keyboard.
Hey S M. Yes, we made it out alive. My other account isn't posting for some reason. I probably offended some sensitive people. lol I always take a break this time of year anyway but I've really enjoyed your comments. Be blessed and Roll Tide ROLL!
Yeah Point Break live. Lol I wonder if it's still in LA... I will totally go see it if it is haha. I actually have a friend in Alabama who I lost a bet with over the game lol. He runs the Alabama branch of Riverkeeper, they do all kinds of environmental legislation and cleanup down there. Anyways, it's a good group. I'll be making a contribution to them courtesy of the Tide lol.
gotta give credit where credit is due man. Glad you found some decent irish fans on here. I reckon most fans across the board are all pretty good folks. But then you get the couple dicks from fan basis, that makes you question human interaction all together.
Speaking on human interaction, if you got some free time. Check out the article http://bleacherreport.com/articles/1469069-alabama-vs-notre-dame-why-smart-money-is-on-fighting-irish-in-bcs-title-game . I calmly notified someone (georgia fan) that he was using transitive property, and that theory simple doesnt stand up. well needless to say the georgia fan has prooved to be one of the "dicks" of the fan base.
Just wanted to drop you a line and say congrats. Thanks for being a classy fan. I hope we meet you again next year in the title game! lol at Johnny Utah! I just watched that movie the other day. You know they have a Point Break live show where they have people from the audience come up and act out the rolls a la Rocky Horror Picture Show. Oh, and nice to see you're a fan of Sacred Heart! I went there.
Congratulations sir on the thorough ass thrashing.
Just wanted to drop ya a note and say even though were on two different sides of the fence with the championship game coming up. I enjoy reading your posts when i happen upon them. you write good honest posts, and you pull for your team. Nothing wrong with that.
Too many ppl on here clog up the boards with their B.S. smack talk. So its hard to find intelligent conversation. So keep fighting the good fight
p.s. The fact that Johnny Utah is your favorite athlete is awesome. "Utah, gimme two!!"
