Dan's Bio
A "short-suffering" Cubs fan living within crowd-noise of Wrigley Field, I have stomach pain at the mention of the name "Steve Garvey, still can't believe Lancaster forgot the count to Matt Williams in '89, and have forgiven Steve Bartman but may never Alex Gonzalez or Dusty for leaving Prior in for so long....

Favorite Athletes
Former: Ed Belfour, Jeremy Roenick, Ryne Sandberg. Current: Kerry Wood, Carlos Marmol, Patrick Kane, Rex Grossman, Joe Borowski.
Favorite Sports Teams
Chicago Cubs, Blackhawks, Bears. I've also temporarily adopted the Kansas City Royals. I hope no one minds.
All Time Sports Moment
Aramis Ramirez' grand slam in the first inning of 2003 NLCS Game 4. I thought it was over. OVER.
Most Memorable Game Attended
Final Cubs home game of 1989. They gave away posters that day, and the top of the 9th inning was a sea of waving, rolled-up white posters as Mitch Williams closed out the Pirates. I was 12 and that whole year was magic.
Most Unbreakable Sports Record
Cy Young's 511 wins. Seriously, how?
Ruth or Mays?
Ruth. What was Mays career WHIP?
Unitas or Montana?
Montana. Watching him destroy the Bears D time and again in the late '80's when NO ONE did that...I thought he was unbeatable.
Pele or Maradona?
I don't know much about Renaissance painters, sorry.
Pac 10, Big 12, Big 10, SEC, ACC, or Big East?
Big 10...while holding my nose.

Dan, you're a talented writer with a great voice. Your piece at times runs the risk of getting bogged down with numbers, and becomes a bit lengthy. You may want to look at ways of making it a bit more concise. If you have any questions or comments concerning anything, don't be afraid to let me know. Keep the good works coming.
