Born in Lexington, KY (that's why I'm a UK basketball fan), raised in Ohio (and that is why I bleed Scarlet and Grey), only 90 minutes from Pittsburgh (Steelers, Pirates and Pens). I married a Florida girl and now reside happily in the central part of the Sunshine State. I'm a high school social studies teacher with 23 years of experience teaching all subjects and all grades from 6 - 12. I was also a police officer for 5 years. I'm a preacher's kid and proud of it, have a great wife of soon-to-be 30 years, and two great kids: a daughter in Charleston, SC, and a son in Jacksonville.
