Lebron James is a well known basketball star who, at the moment, plays for the revered Miami Heat. He came into the NBA at the young age of eighteen following an extremely momentous high school career. Lebron was the first overall pick in the 2003 draft and snatched up by the Cleveland Cavaliers, his home town team. Following seven record breaking years in Ohio, James became a free agent and, after months of extended speculation, publicly announced that he would be leaving Ohio for Miami.
Lebron came into the world in late December of mid eighties. The product of a statutory rape, James's mom was just sixteen years old at the moment of his birth. His basketball abilities were so apparent during his childhood that he was something of an Akron celebrity by the time he began high school.
Lebron attended Saint Vincent and Saint Mary High School and soon became the star player of the basketball team. He was averaging twenty one points a game during his freshmen year and led his team to nearly a perfect record. His stats the next year were better and he helped the team secure their second division III title.
By his junior season Lebron had improved his skills even more. In games he scored roughly thirty points, six assists, and seven rebounds. He was called the Gatorade National Player that year and garnered his nickname of ""King James"". During his last year, he began to become more of a notable personality on a national level. He graced the covers of numerous popular sports publications and was named Most Valuable Player at the McDonald's All American Game.
There was absolutely no question, by the time he was 18, that Lebron planned to skip college ball and go straight into the draft. Speculators that assumed he would be the first pick were proved right when the Cavaliers used their position in the draft to snatch him up.
James's rookie season was filled with complete fan adoration and record breaking games. During one against the Nets of New Jersey, he scored forty one points and became the youngest league player to ever do so in a game. Weeks later he then became the NBA's youngest ever player to be given the honor of Rookie of the Year.
After an astonishing career in Cleveland, James made the tough decision to switch teams at the top of his game in favor of Miami. Cavalier fans considered his departure to be an unforgivable betrayal and began villainizing their former hero. All over the city, his jerseys and other memorabilia were torched as residents attempted to erase memory that James ever existed at all. His high profile transfer aside, James first season with the Heat was a momentous and triumphant one.
Off the court, the player has been in a longtime relationship with girlfriend Savannah Brinson. The two lovers met in high school and have two children together. Lebron Junior and Bryce Maximus were born in 2004 and 2007 respectively. The two toddlers are each represented in two of James' many tattoos.
...I don't know what to say.
