Zahi's Bio
I am a young Lebanese-Canadian writer who has great passion for football. I am the co-community leader for Serie A alongside my friend Daniel Penza on Bleacher Report.
I enjoy watching, talking, playing, reading and obviously writing about football. I am a huge fan of Serie A football and my big, impersonal mission on B/R is to hype Serie A and help B/R continue on growing.
My favorite kinds of writing include sarcastic humor which is best-flavored with a good story as a background for an article in order for the humor to have a clear objective which is to criticize a flow and try to provide a motive to bring change.
I hold rebellious ideas in the world of politics. Yet these tendencies are covered up with a modernized mentality and yet some classical beliefs that are essential, in my own mind, for civilization to grow without forgetting that we are all equal human beings.
I am also a published poet.. visit:

At Bleachers I am a passionate sportswriter, writing about several topics in world football.
I have created many successful series on B/R including:
-Rumors & Realities: brings the latest transfer buzz in the world of football with a touch of humor
-Inside Football: goes inside the beautiful game to talk about football from an off-the-pitch-view
-English Talk: discusses the latest news and gossip of the English football
-Calcio Fever: discusses the latest news and gossip of the Italian football
-Day To Day: brings detailed, multiple stories using sarcasm and irony *senseless humor*
-Calcio Chat: The Serie A Roundtable brings many writers with different opinions to discuss a major rising issue in Italian football
-Zahi's Notes: Awareness articles that are influenced by political and social conditions
On the international scene, I am a fan of Italy.
I hope you enjoy my articles and that my writings can create a healthy atmosphere for everyone to debate.
Cheers :)

Hello, I don’t want to get in the habitat of advertising my articles, but I am interested in your thoughts about my latest article on the Von Erich’s.

Hola Zahi,
I thought to approach you first.
Rob York started a fantastic series, named In the Zone..(Introduction can be found in his article archive).
Rob, is Tennis CL, and started the series for Tennis only.
However, I feel that the series can be expanded to footie too.
Best (for me) will be if you're aboard on this one with me.
I'm thinking (and have made my mind on the article) of contributing in the footie section.
I loved some of the articles of the series, hence thought a writer of your caliber would be, well, amazing.
It's tough to follow the standards of another series but I think it's worthwhile the try.
Best,
AVR

Hey,
Usain Bolt has left the world speechless again, but how does his Berlin performance compare to that of Jesse Owens 73 years earlier? Have a look, comment, and rate if you have the time!

No problem Zahi, we're all entitled to our own opinion and if you don't like it, that's entirely up to you! No hard feelings.
