Dan's Bio
A graduate of scenic Curry College in Milton Massachusetts, Dan Pieroni is a passionate New England sports fan. He truly lives and dies with the success of his favorite teams. Want Proof? When he was a kid he threw a table lamp across he's bedroom because the Red Sox had just lost a playoff series to the Indians.
Although he's mellowed out considerably, sports, particularly baseball, remains one of his true passions. His honest and sometimes brutal assessments of issues in sports are sure to develop a loyal fan base here on Bleacher Report.
After almost three years at Blogger, Dan has decided to leave his personal blog because he wants a wider audience and he believes that someone may be so impressed with his writing that they'd be willing to pay him for it, not that he's holding his breath.
His life's ambitions are to visit every ballpark in the major leagues and eat at every "Popeye's Chicken" in the United States, clearly he doesn't get out much.
Dan lives with his nagging but loving parents and a younger brother that barely tolerates him in northern Rhode Island. He is eager to share his opinions with the rest of the Bleacher Report community and encourages you to comment on his work.

Hey there,
Just wanted to say I found your recent "race" piece interesting. I have a few comments on race issues in the NHL, but don't have time to chat right now... perhaps I'll get back to you. Anyway, good for you on sticking your neck out; you didn't really say anything inflammatory, but it's a delicate subject nonetheless.
Take care!

Farmio is terrible, unless you like hearing about his golf escapades. I actually like Stone, though—he really knows what he's talking about and is able to keep Farmio in check most of the time.
Are they a top radio booth in baseball? Heck no. But they certainly aren't worse than the Farmer/Singleton booth the Sox had from 2006-07.
My dream radio booth still stands at John Rooney and Steve Stone. I'm looking forward to reading your column!
