  1. Thanks, Uncle Rico.

  2. Appreciate the feedback—we are going to be discussing writer rankings at our next product meeting and I will be sure to raise the points you mention.

On another note: I've seen you calling Lisa Horne "hairpuller" in the comment threads and on her bulletin board. This is a violation of our Terms of Use so I politely am asking you to cool it with the inappropriate remarks.

  6. Rico,

Thanks for the note. I am still in the process of seeking publication for my book. I have a pretty good agent out of New York from the Denise Marcil Literary Agency whose job is to query publishers. That is where I am at right now. I tried to get to that website you listed but was unable to do so at the moment, will try again tomorrow. If you are interestred, here is the links to my personal blog and my books website which detail my mission and the purpose of the book:

The book itself is written from the athlete's perspective and is marketed for them and their parents. It is very hard to seperate the two now-a-days. Anyway, thanks for your note and let me know if you do go to the website and blog whether Mr. Baums book Mental Edge is from the same perspective. Talk with you soon.

    Best

  10. I applaud you for not having gouged your eyes out with a spoon after reading countless articles and comments by Jimson & Lisa.

Perhaps people like you and I can rid this site and the world of such bottom feeding, unworthy writing.

  11. You know Rico, that's a solid point, I will admit that the Sam Bradford comparison was somewhat intellectually dishonest, after all, freshmen who excel like Bradford did are quite rare. Let me clarify what I meant to say. As I said before 7-6/56%/103 are not terrible stats per say but they are when one considers how incredibly overhyped and overrated (at the time, too early to judge if he was overrated overall) Clausen was, he was the chosen one (not a quote but that's the vibe I got from most ND fans i know) and he was kind of mediocre this year.

As I said, I think Clausen will turn it around but he didn't deserve all the hype he got, even though he was a 5 star recruit, let's see what happens next season.

  12. I am sick, Uncle.

  13. How about Clausen's 7-6 TD-int ratio and his 56% completion percentage? or his 103 passer rating? Admittedly, his stats aren't terrible considering how mediocre his O-line was but for such a recruit as Clausen, who was exceedingly well-hyped going into the season, the stats were disappointing compared to a guy like Sam Bradford, another freshman starter, who had a 69.5 completion percentage and a 36-8 TD-Int ratio, and a 176.5 passer rating. Granted, Bradford's supporting cast at OU was better than Clausen's at ND, but the principle and the point of the article remains the same, Clausen was overhyped or overrated coming into the season. As I said, I think he can turn it around, he's young and he was hurt last season, but right now, due to his underwhelming stats, the "Clausen is overrated" argument holds water. Let's see what happens next year. Have a nice day.

  14. Yo Rico I just wanted to tell you that youre the man and my favorite person on this earth
