Scott has yet to fill out a bio.
Wait a minute, let me get this straight.... You rip me and Bleacher Report, and then back up your statement with evidence from another Bleacher Report Writer, who failed to source where he got a tip from that Chicago and Pittsburgh were planning on drafting Irvin? P.S. It dosen't pay-- sorry to burst your bubble...
Scottie/Scooter/ Scottie Mal--
Listen here boss-
You find me another college football fan who believed that Bruce Irvin was a good pick at that point, and then yes, you can have my job..... Deal?
At the time it was a questionable move. The team had just paid good money to bring in Matt Flynn, and then they draft a quarterback in the third round with other needs on the team? I was far from the only person questioning the Seahawks brass after that.
In hindsight, the truly questionable move was the Flynn signing. That could turn out to be a healthy waste of money. Wilson has proven to be an excellent game-manager and intriguing weapon given his running ability, though I still want to see him further develop as a passer before I include him in the discussion with other quarterbacks drafted this year such as Andrew Luck and Robert Griffin III.
Finally, were you reading old articles on the Seahawks and searching for folks who questioned moves the team made? Or have you just been holding onto that sentence for eight months, hoping for an opportunity to call me out? Either way—c'mon, man.
