Seven Year Itch: The Struggles of Syracuse Football
November 17, 2009
Native New Englander (from New Hampshire, thank you very much) residing in Manhattan for the time being.
First sports love were the early 90's Boston Celtics and the play of a broken down Larry Bird and Kevin McHale, and a young Reggie Lewis, before his tragic demise. I still loved the C's when stiffs like Brett Szabo and Marty Conlon were manning the low blocks, which makes me appreciate the sweet turn-around jumpers of Kevin Garnett that much more.
Attended Syracuse University on the strength of their academic programs and memories of watching them as a 14 year old in the 1996 Final Four. John Wallace was the man. I visited the campus on a rainy day in 1999 and my mind was made up.
Unabashed Red Sox and Patriots fan who cried like a little kid in October 2004 and February 2002, but still loves to follow every team in the game, on some level, because it just makes it all that much more interesting.

Great work on the edits, much appreciated.
Thanks a lot.
I'm glad you liked it, Dan.
Have a good weekend!
Dan thanks for the edit, but you placed it in College Football rather than the Buffalo Bills section, where I am the F/C. If you can fix that i'd really appreciate it!
