I am an aspiring sports writer who just recently started writing for a small newspaper in Ottumwa, Iowa. I'm very green and I lack a journalism degree or any true writing education past high school. I guess I'm self taught, if that's possible. I'm a very opinionated person and I have a lot of things to learn about journalism and I need to work on finding my style but I'm confident it'll all come together eventually. I concentrate mainly on Chicago sports teams beings how Iowa has zero professional sports team.
