I dont believe in tipping
Yeah but then in Minnesota Wiggins could get too much attention and teams will just look to shut him down as he will be their stand out player. If Minnesota can swing a deal for Thad in the Wiggins deal, getting Thad from Philly and sending Dion to Philly then Minnesota will be looking alright, mediocre, but solid.
TJ Warren is going to be a stud, he was a player i didn't know much about coming into the draft. However with Phoenix resigning Tucker, he will start, Phoenix already has 6th men players in Isaiah Thomas and Gerald Green, so i'm not sure whether his scoring capability will be heavily relied on this season. I'm looking forward to him though! I love what Phoenix is doing! I feel like Wiggins is going to end up in Minnesota also!
Houston had an off season similar to what Dallas has been having the past previous years, going into the offseason with so much hype, being so aggressive for super stars but then ultimately falling short. Ah that was so hard to go through!
ROY? I'm not sure man, i feel like Doug McDermott could be a sleeper, he could see a lot of open shots in CHI so i'm thinking possibly him. Nerlens Noels also, he was such a beast in SL! Andrew Wiggins, based on where he ends up, MIN i say he has a better chance at winning it with a bigger role.. Yeah, i think Noels, Dermott or Wiggins, what about you man?
Yeah the East has improved a lot this offseason, the West hasn't really got any better. Some teams have had shockers of off seasons though! BK has done virtually nothing, Utah and SAC don't seem to have improved too much other than their rookies. HOU was horrible. MEM could have done better. The teams i see who had the best off seasons apart from teams such as SAS, OKC, LAC that didn't have to do much are; WAS, MIA, DAL, CLE, CHA, CHI. Other teams that i think improved under the radar are MIL, DET, NOP
Yeah Nick Collison would be a solid addition. I want someone like that, someone who can bang around down low in the paint, course a bit of fuss, set screens and distribute the ball a bit, i'm not looking for a big time scorer, just someone to help deepen the front court bench, because right now, Bis is backing up Big Al, and either Zeller/ Vonleh or Marvin will start at the 4 and the others will back up.
yeah SAS weren't in any position to make some drastic moves, they played it safe, and i think they could easily have another year in them. Evan Turner would have fitted into Pop's system so nicely, i've been thinking that ever since he left Philly, but like you said SAS's back court is already pretty deep, so no need.
Yeah man, Brian Roberts was an underrated signing, he played a season similar to Xzavier Henry for the Lakers, a break out young guard who can score the basket well. It will be interesting to see how he plays this year, we have a pretty undersized PG rotation with him and Walker and Pargo playing garbage minutes, but i think he will be a great addition.
I'm not completely convinced with Toronto man, they did the right moves, got rid of some ugly contracts such as Novak and retained key players, but i sort of feel other teams excelled a bit more and could take a leap over Toronto. I don't mean to sound biased, but Charlotte and Washington could very well finish higher than Toronto this season. But i do like Dwayne Casey, a great coach from Dallas, so i like to see them do well! Ross could make some big progress this season too!
Yeah man, Perkins would be ideal sitting behind Big Al, and you're right, CHA now need size, especially coming off the bench. Perkins brings that physicality that CHA could really use, he's aggressive down low and he would set the perfect screens for Kemba's mid range daggers that Westbrooke also does.. Plus, not to mention that trade would be a steal for OKC also!
Wizards have recovered so well after loosing Ariza, i'm still in disbelief that we have Pierce, it seems weird, he's always been that guy that i have envied as he's from Boston. I could never imagine any of my teams having him, but i'm very happy we got him, especially for so cheap too! He's probably the best veteran presence you could ask for on a young team, Porter will benefit so well from learning off him. Kris Humphries was a perfect guy to fill Bookers absence too, i was guttered to see Booker go, i thought he was so underrated for what he did in WAS success last year, he really was our unsung hero, but Humphries is great to back up Nene. Blair was an absolute steal, i didn't want DAL to let him go, but im happy he came to another one of my teams. WAS front court is now so deep. Plus Otto and Glen Rice have been absolutely killing it in the SL, i think we are headed for dominance for a long time now!
Spurs have been quiet, i guess thats understandable, i really want SAS to pick up Turner, i feel he could excel in that system! Who you reckon has had the best offseason?
hey, i been working out trades for Henderson now that Stephenson is in Charlotte, what you think about these; (ideally, i think we need a big man to back up Al and mentor the young guys)
Gerald Henderon for Tristan Thompson
Gerald Henderson + Bismack Biyombo for Jonas Jerebko + Will Bynum
Gerald Henderon + Bismack Biyombo for Ersan Illyasova
Gerald Henderson + Bismack Biyombo for Thaddius Young
Gerald Henderson + Bismack Biyombo for Kendrick Perkins plus draft picks
Haha, bro, Charlotte is now looking stacked! And the players we have are still very cheap for their productions. Lance is going to have a big role in Charlotte, he is going to complement Kemba and Big Al perfectly. We may as well trade Henderson now though, possibly for a stretch forward.
Yeah, i decided i was rooting for them in the final even though i'm a LeBron fan.. I'm happy also though because i seriously think Dallas gave them the hardest matchup. Good on the Spurs though, they were an absolute efficient machine!
Congrats on the Spurs brother!
