Take a look at this mate and let me know what you think. It's quite comprehensive and took a while to write.

In your open positions article. First of all, I wouldnt be upset if Kjlestan never gets another cap and Bornstein is absolutley terrible, i'd rather have DMB at left back. When will BOB sever those chivas ties?

And I assume your excluding Brian Ching from your "forwards/goal scorers" list is because he would be at the top of a "forwards/target players" list. If he doesnt go to south africa im boycotting the US team.

And has Torres impressed anyone? Because I dont think he has contributed at all, id rather have beckerman or mastroeni in the midfield to say nothing of clark edu bradley. There is no place for Torres on the team.

    BEST XI:
    Ching Altidore
    Donovan Bradley Clark Dempsey
    Bocanegra DeMerit Onyewu Cherundolo
    Howard

7-man bench: Guzan Spector Marshall Edu Feilhaber __1__ __2__

Two open bench spots for attacking players. Adu, Beasley, Cunningham, Coooper, EJohnson, Holden, Rodgers. (and yes I left off Casey because I dont think he is good enough. And if Davies was healthy he'd be taking one of those two spots, or probably starting ahead of altidore)

I think Clark starts in midfield, and could be paired with either Edu or Bradley. Bradley might attack and distribute more but I think Edu and Clark together would be strong and both are athletic enough to go box to box.

If Castillo takes the left back spot then Boca is on the bench or takes DeMerits spot in the middle, either way bumping Marshall off the bench.
