Andrew's Bio

I'm an aspiring sportswriter from north Jersey, who will bleed Mets and Giants colors until the day I die. I graduated from Elizabethtown College with a degree in English-Professional Writing, and I'm pursuing a career in sports journalism. I was a member of the Elizabethtown baseball team while in college, and did my best Wild Thing Rick Vaughn impression as closer. Currently, I cover Paul Pierce of the Boston Celtics for his official website (www.paulpierce.net), and am the New York Mets Examiner for Examiner.com (the link to my page is http://www.examiner.com/x-1023-New-York-Mets-Examiner if you'd like to take a look).

My other favorite teams include the New Jersey Nets, and Notre Dame football. I'm looking to improve my writing in any way I can, so feedback is always very much appreciated.

Whether you like my stuff or think I'm on drugs, leave a comment and tell me what you think.

  2. Hey Andrew,

We're trying to do more league-wide open mics right now rather than B/R Open Mics. That said: are you not receiving the MLB Open Mic emails?

    Lemme know, thanks!

    Zander

  3. And see I figured you were going to say we're Mets fans. That is a pretty small world. How was your experience with AI? I haven't gotten to work with Tyson just yet. I've been working on Jason Kidd's site through the Olympics and a couple track and field athletes they picked up for the games.

Good stuff on the Mets. I'm glad they broke out of the clutch hitting funk last night. It was a long time coming.

  4. You're welcome Andrew and keep up the good work!

  5. Good stuff, Andrew. I loved the Lou Brown quote...obviously, Delgado didn't do any of that "ole" bull****.

Keep it up, I look forward to reading your stuff in the future.
