  Some on the mark, some so far off it is laughable.
  Some who should have won: '64: Joe Namath; '92 Garrison Hearst; '01 Rex Grossman; '69: Archie Manning; '97: Peyton Manning. Woodson's season wasn't as good as Champ Bailey's in '98. Herschel Walker was the best player every. Had he gone to USC, Marcus Allen would have remained at FB and blocked for Walker as he did for Charles White. Walker was the most dominant player of all time.

  It's a shame that the dirtiest (not just aggressive) player in CFB will win an award. that is Nick Fairley. It's also a shame that the best WR (A. J. Green) is being left off the All-America teams for selling a used FB jersey last year. Green is the best WR-- period!
