Hilerie's Bio
Hello. I'm a hard-core sports fan here in North Idaho. I don't know what to expect from this blog. I love writing about sports and haven't done it in a while.
I got into sports at the age of 11. My first memorable sports moment was the 1991 World Series - Twins and Braves. I'll never forget the amazing pitching of John Smoltz and the heroics of Kirby Puckett. In the 90's, I watched tons of games on TBS. My favorite players in that era were Smoltz, Glavine, Maddux, Chipper, McGriff, Justice, Javy Lopez, Terry Pendelton. I'll never forget the 95 World Series.
I'm a huge Utah Jazz fan, and they were my local team growing up. I watched all the games and went to a few games. I try to attend a game every year. The John Stockton and Karl Malone years were of course my favorite years. I love the youth of today's Utah Jazz team - Deron, Millsap, Miles and Brewer are fun to watch.
As for college sports, I'm a hardcore Idaho Vandal. They are my alma mater, and I have stood by them since my freshman year of college! Things have been rough lately this decade, however, it looks like the men's basketball team is back on track!
