I am a 25 year old male that just recently finished my single subject social science teaching Credential out of a local Cal-State. I graduated from Northwest Missouri State University in 2008 with a degree in History/Sociology. I attended Northwest on a baseball scholarship where I played my junior and senior seasons, earning all-conference recognition in both, and all-region recognition during my final season. I currently live in the Southern California area where I enjoy visiting the zoo, Charger games (when Denver is in town), and continue to play baseball in an adult league with other has-beens. I was also the head coach of the JV baseball team at my local high school in 2010. I am now teaching high school and coaching girls basketball as well as working with the varsity baseball team.

You're acting like a cad about things here, Brian.
Brian.........Not writing for the purpose of gloating. I was firmly in the corner that the Phillies were the team to beat, had the quality pedigree etc. This position does however not diminish my diehard Giant fan status. The Phillies got caught by surprise , feeling a tad too much entitlement perhaps. The margin throughout the series was razor thin. Whatever the hell it is that keeps working for the Giants is not natural. Their lineup is a bunch of scrubs.I gotta love the underdog stuff , but the unfathomable good luck can't carry them past the Rangers. On the other hand if they actually start to demonstrate a sustained quality of play......well respect given where respect is due.
Just wanted to drop by and say thanks for all the support you have Giants fans man! Couldn't have done it without you!
Thanks for deleting my comments.
You should change your favorite coaches.... Scioscia was a great catcher for the Dodgers and he's a better manager for the Angels... the best in baseball. Shanahan, on the other hand, only won with Elway as his quarterback. Without him, he has proven to be a sub-par leader at best. Now Marty Schottenheimer, that was a football coach!! :-)
