In West Philadelphia born and raised, on the ice rink is where I spent most of my days. Actually South West Philadelphia to be exact, I grew up most of my time between being disappointed by the Flyers, Eagles, Phillies but not so much the Sixers because I never really had any expectations for them (although the 2000 season required a helmet because it blew my mind). I didn't really have any preferences in sports until my mom sat me down in front of a glowing puck when the NHL used to be on FOX... Ever since then I was hooked like a junkie. If I hope to accomplish anything through this profile it's this: To prove even though to the rest of the world Philadelphia sports fans look like crazed lunatics, in truth we're knowledgeable, dedicated, unconditionally loyal and depraved spectators of the game....
