About

Having finished a BA Hons in Media Writing, Sean now hopes to become a full-time sportswriter, and feels that Bleacher Report is an excellent platform from which to launch his journalistic assault. He is from, and recently moved back to, a town near Manchester called Chester.

He is an avid fan of a club that he will not name for fear of being ostracised by rival fans, and has been told on many occasions that he devotes too much time to football, mainly by people whom he believes to be "insane".

He enjoys heated debate on football, and welcomes any constructive criticism or praise that you might have concerning his articles. Trolls shall be ignored.

His other hobbies include writing a novel, reading other people's novels, losing money at poker, and sweating on nightclub stages while playing with his band. If so inclined, you can read about his latest exploits by following him on twitter @shbgetreal

Thanks for following up, Sean, and for the kind words. Keep at it with basketball, definitely a sport where the news and storylines never stop. I'd suggest following a B/R writer named Josh Martin, he's my favorite. Really terrific writing.

Thanks again and I hope all is well.

Thanks for becoming a fan, Sean! How are you liking B/R? I've really enjoyed your writing, especially as I try and learn more about world futbol. I grew up with some of the more American sports like baseball and basketball, but love futbol. Keep up the great work and if you have any questions or suggestions for the site I hope you won't hesitate to contact me. Thanks again

    Hi Sean,

I have only just noticed the comment under my profile, and while the wording certainly could have been more PC and more constructive, I still stand by what I was saying,

I like this site, on the whole the quality of writing is far better than most, however I am finding the opinion pieces to be totally biased and lacking any real investigation and thought (that's not aimed at you personally) so frustration shows now and again.

As for Tom, I am sorry, but if you are going to write something, at least make it slightly interesting and giving an opinion from multiple viewpoints, not just his own. It was total trash.
