Suns Burn Celtics: Upset Solidifies Early Success
11/07/2009
I am a junior graduating this year from the University of Wisconsin-Madison journalism school. Since the age of two, I have been loyally following my sports teams with a passion. (Red Sox, Steelers, Badgers, Penguins, and many more) After covering the men's soccer team for the Badger Herald last season, I am now the beat writer for the defending national champion women's hockey team. After I serve time in the AmeriCorps, I hope to be following sports for a living.
Maybe I misunderstood. It's late for me and I'm really tired. Did you mean just leave out "The Liver" when it comes to the title of the piece?

You can totally leave it in. I'm sorry for being a newcomer who was placed in an editing position. Steep learning curve haha.

Thanks Thomas. I really appreciate it.
I think you might be taking the em-dash instruction a little out of context. I have been on this site for nearly two years and have yet to see anyone use them within a record, like 10—2—1 vs. 10-2-1. They are to replace something more like "Rodgers has only one red zone pick for his career—Cutler has seven this season."

Thanks for the help, I will remember that.

no prob—great win for the Badgers, last night, eh?
Thanks for the edit Thomas. I can't seem to find the long dash on my computer but I'll look for it.

Glad I could help! Just google Bleacher report style guide, and it will be in there.
Hey thanks for the edits mate and the very helpfull comments. Quick question who is Jens Marquardt?

Sorry, I didn't know people wrote on my profile haha. Jens Marquardt, from research I did, is the only F1 driver names Jens. As an absolute newcomer F1, I didn't know if you were referring to Jenson. My bad!

Hey Tom, when you write a feature about the women's hockey team, make sure to focus on how bad they're doing. Otherwise, it will just be a terrible article.

Haha I know. BTW, I saw the women's hockey poster in the background. P.S. the "amazing editors" put in a wrong headline for an article today that i wrote on monday. The article mentioned twice the girl was a sophomore, and the headline says freshman. Intentional??
Hey Thomas,
Actually I've been writing under this pseudoname for a few years now on Bleacher Report and have somewhat of a cult following. To change it now would throw everything off. You can check out my profile if you want and you'll see that I've been doing it that way since the site started.
Please just let me finish the season the way I've been doing it. This is likely to be the last year I do this as I don;t have the time anymore.
Thanks
