RS's Bio

RS Bartlett is a self-proclaimed "sports enigma".

"Not many other people" has says, "would count the perfect Sunday as an Arsenal/Chelsea match and a NASCAR race in Talladega, back-to-back."

Having grown up in the newspaper business, he began writing soft news and sports feature pieces at the age of 13. By 20 he was managing editor of a weekly newspaper while attending college full-time, and by 23 he had burned out of the journalism game so badly that he refused even to line his birdcage with newsprint.

Now a school teacher who is slowly crawling toward his 40's, RS has rekindled his affair with journalism. "As a casual hobby" he says, "I find it much more agreeable than wading through it up to my ears every single day." Blogs, message boards and open source news have provided a stress-free outlet for his nonsensical ramblings. He has recently taken up the hobby of podcast-hunting in his spare time as well.
