Chambers Taking Advantage of Opportunity With the Kansas City Chiefs
11/23/2009
Hi, my name is Bill Robbins and I am a 21 year old male who hales from Platte County, MO. I currently attend the University of Central Missouri, as I am pursuing a degree in Finance. I was born in St. Joseph, MO in 1988 and have lived in the Kansas City area for my entire life.
I first started to develop an interest in the game of baseball at a very young age. I think i got some of my baseball interest from my grandpa that I never got to meet, who died about 1 year before I was born. He used to keep journals of the Royals' players stats and logs of each game. After hearing this, it inspired me even more to follow the Royals and continue down the path that he started me down. Thank you.
In my younger days, I played about 6 years total of baseball. I decided to quit baseball once i got to high school to persure long distance running. However, baseball is still and has always been there for me, and it is a definite favorite sport of mine.
I first became a fan of the Kansas City Royals back in July of 1995, when I attended my first ever Royals game. It was a great day for the organization as former second baseman Frank White was being inducted into the Royals Baseball Hall of Fame. Unfortunately, the Royals lost the game to the Chicago White Sox and I went home upset from what had happened, and from then on I was a true fan. I still continue to be an avid fan of the team, by listening to many games on the radio and watching others on TV while at the same time watching some games on Gameday if I cant do the other two.
I am also a huge Kansas City Chiefs fan, and I write about them as well. My passion runs deep with both of these team as I am a diehard fan who lives and dies with win and loss for both teams during their respective seasons.
Bill Nice Read. Chambers has been a steal for this team and give them the big play WR they have never had. I key thing here...
A few weeks ago, the Chargers released veteran wide receiver Chris Chambers after 2 and 1/2 sub-par season with the team. A short time later, the Chiefs signed Chambers and that he has been producing ever since...
As you might have heard, we have a brand new Cy Young award winner that happens to pitch for the Kansas City Royals. His name is none other than Zack Greinke...

Hey man,
I just wrote an article discussing Pau Gasol's recent injury suffered while playing for his country of Spain, which leads me to ask the question where should his allegiance lie? Please take a moment to read it and provide your own opinion as a comment. Hope you Like it!

Hey Bill,
I wrote a piece in May highlighting the position players that I thought should make the all star team. I started a 2-part follow up piece today focusing on starting pitchers. I started with AL. If you get the chance, I'd appreciate it if you took a look at it. Thanks
