Jose Salviati is a twenty year IT professional with a disturbingly intense passion for technology, gadgets and sports. He has seen MJ drop 50 in Chicago, spent time just outside the "Other LA Basketball Teams" locker-room with the wives and girlfriends of players and was at the 1986 game the Angels lost after being one strike away from the Series. He considers himself an "Average Jose" (the Latin version of Average Joe); just a guy with an admiration for watching two teams compete. Originally from Argentina he lives in Southern California with his wife, four kids, two dogs, one guinea pig and a bearded dragon. He will follow the Clippers through the Blake Griffin era at http://www.clipperselevationnation.com.
Jose, I had to come here to respond to your last comment because it really struck a nerve. I took a hiatus from b/r because I had become dis-enchanted with the direction the site was taking. Way to many top 10 lists, and not nearly enough thoughful analysis. Let's just say I was persuaded very convincingly to come back but already I am questioning my decision. It seems the only articles that are really promoted here are the ones that provoke controversy, or the ones that are over the top sensational. I decided to test my theory today by writing the first article I published which took quite a bit of thought and time, and I even notified the NBA team leader as was requested once I published it. I then took about another 15-20 minutes to come up with the Kobe hate article and then published it without a word to the editors. Seems like the article I spent the most time constructing was basically forgotten in favor of an article I thought of on a spur-of-the-moment whim. I would tell you to just syick by your guns, but it's hard to justify that when you have to watch real journalism take a back seat to sensationalism. Sorry I used your comment thread to vent, but sometimes the atmosphere around here is depressing.

Jose, someone just stole that great slide show you did on the 2009 redraft and is pawning it off as their own.
This week I had a chance to interview Knicks legend John Starks about what he is up to and what he thinks of the Knicks today. Check it out if you'd like:
