I'm an old school baseball fan, sparked by the greatest boon to baseball since the baseball card... no, not steroids, rather fantasy baseball. It elevated the love of stats and the desire to put your money where your mouth is, insofar as assembling a team of players you KNOW are about to become the next big thing.

Me? After growing up in Boston during the long, world series victory lean years, I moved to Cleveland in the 1980's to see what real baseball agony was like. Nonetheless, like the city, the team grew on me and has tantalized and teased, like another, small market Sox. Sure, times here in CLE are tough and don't look to be improving until something like 2011, but I will be here rooting the Tribe on.
