  Hi I.J.,
  
  I've been reading your articles for a while now and really like your style. I personally think the team have the talent and ability to be able to compete for at least the cups and get back into a campions league spot. The thing we're definitively missing is an inspirational character when Santi is being shut down by 2 midfielders constantly.
  
  Vermaelen hasn't had the greatest of seasons (even though he is getting better these last couple games) and he doesn't appear to be the source of motivation and leadership we need when the games get tough.
  
  Personally, I think we should try out Wilshire as captain when he is fully fit and in the swing of things, obviously a captain change might not sit too well with the team (ala Gallas) but I think it's a move we need to make. Wilshire was the source of Arsenal's decent 30 minute spell after the half against Swansea and he plays his heart out every match.
  
  I'd like to hear your opinion on the matter and if you felt compelled to publish something about it I would feel rather honoured.
