Andrew's Bio

I just finished my sophomore year at Yale University, where I write and edit sports for the Yale Herald, the school's weekly paper.

As my picture shows, I used to play sports in high school: I played basketball and baseball. I like to think of myself as "retired."

I've lived in New York City all my life, but for some inexplicable reason my dad was a huge Pittsburgh Pirate fan when I was growing up, and now I am too. I have New York Jets season tickets and am also a big Knicks and Rangers fan. My dad also brought me up as a big Tennessee Volunteers fan, and after watching almost every game of the 2006 World Cup I have adopted soccer as my fifth sport and am an ardent Livepool supporter.

I am always open to any feedback you have regarding any of my articles, or anything you would like to discuss at all.
