FIFA World Rankings, November 2009: Spain Topple Brazil
11/21/2009
A recent university graduate with a passion for football.
I’ll be focusing mainly on international football on here, mainly on the Three Lions as an avid but realistic supporter.
A couple of my regular pieces are on England's past games and historical record against their next opponent, see here for the latest: http://bleacherreport.com/articles/287620-brazil-vs-england-the-history
I also preview upcoming England squad annoucements and have a look at who might be in or out with varying degrees of success, see here for the latest: http://bleacherreport.com/articles/285241-england-squad-preview-capello-faces-injury-crisis-ahead-of-brazil-test
I’m also looking to branch out into the French and Portuguese national teams as particular interests.
I’m also the first winner of the Bleacher Report EPL Fantasy Football title on the fantasy.premierleague.com website. Oh yes. Looking forward to defending my title already.
I liked it, at least it was more entertaining than the usual cliché-ridden press conferences. He also raised a good point about that Georgia game, obviously...
haha suck it, Brazil. Suck. It. Bra. Zil.
Spain being at the top simply highlights my point further: la selección española es favorita para ganar la Copa Mundial en 2010.
it looks like that random draw would be very good for the usa. if it were the actual draw, i think these teams would qualify for...
Hey,
Henry's handball has got the whole football world talking. What better time for another Great Debate? Should Henry have owned up? Is he a cheat? Should FIFA have allowed a replay? Have your say in the great debate!

Hey,
After what is being called 'the greatest injustice in sport', the question is, what on earth is FIFA doing?

Matt, after the Henry handball yesterday, I have decided that replay must be implemented in the beautiful game somehow. Please tell me your reaction.

DeleteHey,
Following up yesterday's great debate is the one I've been waiting to write for a long time, and the one I think may be the best debate yet and a must-read for any football fan! Should video technology be introduced into football? Would doing so take away from the 'magic' that makes the game so great? And would it help or hinder the referees? Have your say in the Great Debate!
