A recent university graduate with a passion for football.
I’ll be focusing mainly on international football on here, mainly on the Three Lions as an avid but realistic supporter.
A couple of my regular pieces are on England's past games and historical record against their next opponent, see here for the latest: http://bleacherreport.com/articles/287620-brazil-vs-england-the-history
I also preview upcoming England squad annoucements and have a look at who might be in or out with varying degrees of success, see here for the latest: http://bleacherreport.com/articles/285241-england-squad-preview-capello-faces-injury-crisis-ahead-of-brazil-test
I’m also looking to branch out into the French and Portuguese national teams as particular interests.
I’m also the first winner of the Bleacher Report EPL Fantasy Football title on the fantasy.premierleague.com website. Oh yes. Looking forward to defending my title already.
Sad news!

Hey! I just wanted to thank you for your thorough coverage on such a spectacular sport. I'm 25 years old and I only recently began to follow soccer and I'm still learning and catching up on all of the recent news.
Unfortunately, association football isn't nearly as popular in the states as American football is, so while I was young I just wasn't around it as much.
It's such an exciting sport and I feel like it's a great time to be a fan!
I've mainly been following the EPL and now the World Cup. I'm so fascinated by all of it.
My question for you is (though it may be a silly one and I apologize!): Are they any other leagues that you suggest I begin following?
Hey check this out. My first article in a while..

Hi Matthew. It's obvious when I comment here that I'm shamelessly plugging my article lol, but anyways, I want to also say your article on the English players in the EPL was a great read :) I've written a semi-decent article that, for the first time in a long time, got me shamelessly advertising :( Although, if you could give it a read (mind you, it's ludicrously long, so don't bother if you think it's not that good haha) that would be fantastic.
Here's the link if you're interested lol: http://bleacherreport.com/articles/382188-world-footballs-defining-moment-iraq-rise-from-guns-to-glory
Many thanks,
