About Ryan »

A self-inflicted sports addict. I try to share my experiences through blogging about football, hockey, soccer and other sports on my own blog, www.sports-opinionated.com and Bleacher Report.

I grew up in Canada, so I love hockey but have come to be an NFL nut and to truly appreciate soccer, especially Serie A, Bundesliga and the EPL

The Patriots season has very much been a tale of two teams. Join the discussion as I talk about the good Patriots and the dominant Patriots.

Hey Ryan,

Since you like the Bundesliga, you might enjoy this article on emerging German starlet Aaron Hunt.

Give it a read and let me know if you liked it or not, or maybe you can add your own view on the matter in a reply?

I gave that blogpost a read, nicely written Ryan. To me, the competitive nature of the Bundesliga is very appealing.

I mean, just look at Stuttgart... 2007 champions, had a decent 2008 season and now right in the midst of a relegation battle.

In terms of excitement and unexpected results, you can't beat the Bundesliga :)

I agree Ryan, the Bundesliga really is one of the top leagues in the world in terms of atmosphere and excitement.

Compared to for example La Liga or the Premiership, it's not always the same two or three teams competing for the title.
