Ryan's Bio

Ryan Alberti played four years of college football in central New Jersey before lighting out for the Southern California coast and the eastern Mojave Desert. Professional commitments have since lured him to the San Francisco Bay Area, where he spends his free time cuddling with a space heater and longing for the sunburns of yesteryear.

Ryan Writes About

The Short List facts and information about Ryan Alberti

Ruth or Mays?

The Babe. But only because I'm such a diehard Kelly McGillis fan. (Put THAT in your Google search field and smoke it.)

Unitas or Montana?

Unitas. Those Montana winters are brutal.

Jordan or Russell?

Jordan. Russell couldn't hit .202 to save his life.

Pele or Maradona?

Maradona, because I'm a sucker for Desperately Seeking Susan. Unless we're talking about Pele the Hawaiian goddess of fire, in which case I have to go with the deity.

  11. Hey,

I was wondering if you would check out my latest article. I hate to solicit you, but I think it deserves more attention than it will probably receive as it is tagged "stats." I would love to hear your opinions on this debatable topic!

    Thanks!

  12. Ryan,

Thanks for the heads up on the inserts, our B/R was able to resolve the problem, in the following manner, here I am copying from Cody's BB"

    "Cody,

This is what you need to do, as this is the code for the YouTube video, some of the videos do not allow to be embedded, which is not the case here as you can see now:

You need to put this code that I got from YouTube where ever you want it in your HTML:

This is the same code that I put in and so we have the video displaying therein, now - go check.

Some YouTube videos do not offer that code as they are not Authorised by the maker of that video, so when you link you have to look for a PUBLIC VIDEO that has this code to embed in your HTML.

    Thanks a lot,
    Sarah
    "

Thanks a lot for the vote of confidence in me.

    Bests,
    Sarah

  13. Thanks...you guys are changing the world over here

  14. Hey Ryan,

I follwed Saraswathi's tutorial on how to insert a youtube clip into my writing, but it doesn't seem to be working for me, all I keep getting is a box with the dreaded 'red-x'. Is there anyway you could check it out? If you need the embed code for the video, here is the web address to the video itself:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SCCDnEFZQcc

Thanks a bunch if you can get around to it!

    Cody
