Great article on what the Bulls plan is for teh backup PG position. I have often wondered why Chicago hadn't signe Jimmer and put him on the summer league roster for some experience, but then again I am still trying to figure out why he is classified as a PG. I would think that his game would be more towards a shooting guard. I know his height doesn't help, but seeing him on the opposite wing of McDermott spotting up with Rose driving just seems like a great set of shooters for the Bulls.

Both Jones and Smith look the part of being a great addition to the roster for the backup PG spot. I like Smith's promising defensive skills over all three options. When Kirk came into this league as a Bull, he was a point guard. I know that he has changed his game to be a combo guard, which makes him a valuable contributor to the team. So I pose this question for you. Why do the Bulls need a PG? We know Kirk isn't going to be the starter (provided Rose stays healthy), so he could potentially run the point. So should the question be who will be the Bulls back PG? or Who will the Bulls add to the back court?
