Born and raised in metro Detroit, I found my way to Minneapolis in '98. A lifelong Detroit sports fan, I've adopted the Twins and Wild as secondary home teams. The Detroit Red Wings are my first love, with the Tigers a close second. I am morally opposed to any team from New York, Southern California, or Texas. I also think that with the exception of the Kings, cities south of the Mason-Dixon line don't deserve hockey franchises. I'm a big fan of hard-nosed, grind-it-out-type athletes and teams (Think Bill Laimbeer and the late '80s Pistons) I'm a big fan of tradition in sports (I cried when they tore down the last of Tiger Stadium) I like to think that I have some worthwhile things to say, at least every once in a while.
