The Short List facts and information about Lori Grim

Favorite Athletes

Sandy Alomar; Kenny Lofton: Albert Belle (yeah, that's right, I was a fan!); Lenny Wilkins; Mark Price; Franco Harris; Brett Favre; Grady Siezemore, Roberto Clemente - never saw him play, of course, but I read a biography on him in 3rd grade and it inspired me to be a baseball fan; Bob Feller - Mr Cleveland Baseball; Joe DiMaggio - I know, he's one of those rotten Yanks but he helped to change the way Italian-Americans were perceived at the time; David Beckham - what can I say...I'm a chick!

Favorite Sports Teams

Cleveland Indians, Cleveland Cavaliers, Detroit Tigers

All Time Sports Moment

Of all time or just my own all time? My own personal favorite would have to be Sandy Alomar's magical 1997 All Star Game.

Most Memorable Game Attended

Hmm...I've been lucky enough to attend some great MLB playoff games. But most memorable was probably final game at old Cleveland Municipal Stadium. I loved that place and miss it. Game 3 of 2007 ALCS was pretty awesome, too

Most Unbreakable Sports Record

How about the milestone I never want to see broken? Bob Feller's only Opening Day no-hitter

Ruth or Mays?

Ruth - he changed the game and became the first sports star to become a pop culture hero

Unitas or Montana?

Favre

Pele or Maradona?

Maradona - "Like a Prayer" is my favorite album. Oh, wait...we're talking about soccer??

Pac 10, Big 12, Big 10, SEC, ACC, or Big East?

Not a huge NCAA fan

  1. Hey Lori, welcome to the site. If you should want to participate in the Tribe Talk series, or have any other questions, feel free to let me know. I am here to help with whatever I can. BR has been a great experience to not only work on my writing skills, which I hope will go somewhere someday, but meet other Tribe fans who have the same passions I do about the team. It is great to get the discussions going and hear everyones thoughts. Anyway, Go Tribe!

  2. Welcome to the site Lori! Glad to see you are enjoying the site. Make sure you come back often, the Indians section always has something going on!
