Wow Dan, great article on the HOF steroids debacle. Didn't these "cheats" carry the game of baseball in the 90's when it was hard to fill stadiums? Thanks to these "cheats" the crowds sold out and enjoyed unbelievable things. Why should players be condemned for something that at the time was normal? Better yet, owners and commissioners knew about steroid use but they would rather shut up than to label these players as "cheats".
Bonds, Clemens, E. Martinez......these people were absolute legends.

Please dont sound like a complete fool. Ronaldo carrying the team to the semis? Wtf did he do on his 1st year here? It was the players that Mourinho brought along with his coaching that took us to the next level. You really arent a Madridista if you think that the club cant succeed without him.

I'm surprised that you, a Bayern fan, can defend Muller after watching Bayern play so much. Look at every single goal of the world cup, they were all results of brilliant passes by his teammates. Gamechangers don't struggle for an entire season like he did last year, his goals that you mentioned are such garbage (the one against Valencia which he would've missed clearly if it wasn't for that deflection).
Truth is that Muller pales in comparison to players such as Ozil, Kroos, Reus, Gotze, Holtby, and a couple more just in his national team. That garbage stat of goals + assists is bs. How can you consider Muller to be better than Gotze, Ozil, Iniesta, Xavi, etc, etc.
Like I said before, Bayern and Germany are my favorite teams by a mile but Muller's silly name shouldn't be on the Starting 11 for any important match. He is a player that would struggle in a team outside Bayern, Dortmund, Madrid, or Barca because he depends on other people that are actually world class.

Great article like always, Michael, I wrote on your latest article. I was wondering what you thought of Di Maria? I mean, it is obvious to see that he ALWAYS tries an impossible through ball or an ill advised long range shot. Why then doesn't Mou step in and talk to him? How can Ozil be the leading scorer in the world cup qualifiers in Europe, have assists every game, and play with such ease, and mou question his class? It is weird for "The Special One" to not notice this. Just wanted to hear what you thought.
