About

Sports Guru in my own mind
But seriously...I'm a 26 year old, paramedic living in Carrollton, Texas (suburb of Dallas). I'm a life-long, diehard, for richer or poorer, sickness and in health Texas Rangers and Texas Longhorns fan. I love my other teams, very much, but Hook'em Horns and GO RANGERS!

Got married this July 11th! Best day of my life, by far!!!

Been a baseball player my entire life, in high school I was C/1B, scorekeeper, and assistant coach...we only had one coach most of the time. Also help out as an assistant coach for the high school that I once attended. Worked baseball for the Texas Longhorns in their 2002 NCAA Championship season. And I will sit in section 41, Row 4, Seat 1 when the Texas Rangers win their first World Series...can't be much longer now.

Former MLB player Eric Karros called my article into question on Colin Cowherd's ESPN Radio show yesterday.

He challenged me for a re-do: but here's my response.

I assure you, it's not just a ridiculous personal attack, but it shows that Karros was off-base with his statements.

Hey, this is a article that I'm particularly proud of, and I think you will enjoy it. It looks at some of the strangest injuries to ever occur in baseball history, there certainly are some strange ones.

Thought this might interest Rangers fans since you failed to sign Purke.
