My name is Alaa ElSharif, and I'm a life long wrestling fan located in Tripoli, Libya. I've been a wrestling fan since my early childhood in the United States where I was born, and continue to be so till this day and age. I guess I caught the wrestling bug from my dad, who according to mom's narrative, would pin my shoulders to the bed for a count of 1-2-3 when I was still shy of 40 days of age...! My all time favorites growing up were Bret Hit man Hart, Sting, Ric Flair, and Macho man Randy Savage.
We can't catch that much wrestling on local TV here in my neck of the woods, but through the magic of broadband internet I manage to keep up with everything that's wrestling, let alone all the different wrestling radio shows and news sites (working for a local ISP helps a lot wink wink). I'm trying to move my way up from passive viewer to opinionated writer, and I hope you find my contributions to this site entertaining and insightful. I'd appreciate your feedback so keep in touch. I hope that you read my take on the Tiger saga. Obviously, I have been behind the timing, but I believe that it was important to wait and write something thought-provoking rather than write articles for the sole purpose of attention.
I must say however that if you are under the age of 17 or easily offended that you should not read the article.
