TheCheckeredFlag.co.uk was set up in August 2009 by Journalist Vince Pettit who with years of experience in running websites and magazines both in the motor sport and music industries was looking for a new challenge.

Based in Kent, UK, the site aims to bring informative news and articles from around the world of motor sport, with a blend of feature articles both serious and humorous.

Since the launch of the site it has gained a number of new regular contributors and is constantly in touch with the organisers and teams behind the series we report on.
