Despite being born and raised in England, I fell in love with the NFL in the mid-eighties and have followed it ever since. Over the years, I have also become a fan of MLB, the NBA and the CFL, resulting in my living in Canada and travelling around America. Seattle and Toronto are my favourite places to visit and my all-time sports hero is John Elway.
I am in the final year of a BA undergraduate degree in Sports Journalism & media studies as part of my drive to make it in the sports media industry. Before TO Sports went defunct, Lloyd obtained press credentials for me to cover the Blue Jays whenever I was in Toronto. I also previously wrote a blog for ESPN Seattle. Nowadays I do work experience with BBC Sheffield as part of my degree and got the opportunity to cover this seasons international series game between Tampa Bay and Chicago at Wembley.
Hey Paul,
Here's a couple baseball stories I thought you might enjoy reading. The first is a behind the scenes look at putting together the Mets new Hall of Fame and museum that opened in April, and the second is an interview with the man who owns the Mookie Wilson ball that got through Billy Buckner's legs in '86.

Hey,
It's a tiny bit late as it took longer than expected to write it, but my review of 2009 is finally here! Last year's one won the AOTD award and hopefully I've done enough on this one to equal that feat, but I'll leave you to be the judge of that!
With 25 great moments from 12 different sports, and with everyone from Barcelona to France, the Yankees to the Lakers, and Usain Bolt to Tiger Woods there is something for everyone in this slideshow, plus a ranked top ten as the final slide!
If you get a chance would you mind checking it out? Cheers!
